Deputy Team Manager

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Deputy Team Manager to join our Adolescent and Child Exploitation Team at Bath and North East Somerset Council. This is a full-time maternity cover position that requires a strong understanding of safeguarding and exploitation, as well as excellent management and supervision skills.
The successful candidate will work closely with a dedicated team of social workers, family support practitioners, and administrators to provide support and guidance to children and families at risk of exploitation. The role involves managing and responding to risk, while also assisting families to achieve and sustain change.
Key responsibilities include:
- Managing a caseload of complex cases
- Providing supervision and guidance to team members
- Developing and implementing effective safeguarding strategies
- Working collaboratively with multi-agency partners to achieve positive outcomes for children and families
