The Adolescent and Child Exploitation Team at Bath & North East Somerset Council is seeking a highly motivated Deputy Team Manager to join our team. This is a full-time maternity cover position that requires a sound knowledge of policy, procedures, legislation, and statutory guidance related to safeguarding.
As a Deputy Team Manager, you will work in partnership with a successful team consisting of qualified professional Social Workers, family support practitioners, and admin staff. Your role will involve managing and responding to risk while assisting families to achieve and sustain change.
Key responsibilities include:
- Managing a caseload of complex cases
- Providing supervision and guidance to team members
- Developing and implementing contextual safeguarding approaches
- Working effectively with colleagues and multi-agency partners
- Robust performance management and quality assurance
We offer a comprehensive induction, managed caseload, regular supervision, excellent administrative support, and an extensive training program. You will also have access to Community Care Inform and a laptop to promote flexible working.
About YouTo be successful in this role, you will have:
- A relevant social work qualification
