**Job Description:**

We are seeking a highly motivated and empathetic Teacher for Vulnerable Students to join our team at Academics Ltd. As a key member of our staff, you will play a critical role in providing individualized support to students with Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) needs. Your primary responsibility will be to design and deliver engaging Maths or English lessons that cater to the diverse needs of students aged 7-16.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Deliver creative, interactive, and therapeutic lessons that address the unique challenges faced by each student;
  • Maintain accurate records of student progress, monitoring their development and identifying areas for improvement;
  • Collaborate closely with colleagues to develop and implement effective strategies for supporting students with SEMH needs;
  • Participate in regular training and professional development opportunities to enhance your skills and knowledge;
  • Develop and maintain a deep understanding of the complexities surrounding SEMH needs and how to effectively address them.

**Requirements:**

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)/ Qualified Teacher Learning and Skills (QTLS) or equivalent;
  • Relevant experience working with vulnerable children, including those with SEMH needs and challenging behaviors;
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with students, parents, and colleagues;
  • A genuine passion for making a positive impact on the lives of students with SEMH needs.

**Estimated Salary Range:** £40,000 - £55,000 per annum, depending on experience.
