Occupational Therapist for Specialist Autism Schools

A dynamic and experienced Junior Occupational Therapist is sought after by Compass Associates to work with children in specialist autism schools. The successful candidate will be part of a multidisciplinary team providing evidence-based treatments in bespoke schools that cater to each child's social and educational needs.
The role involves working closely with the Lead Occupational Therapist, Educational Psychologist, and other professionals to deliver specialized care to students aged 7-17. As an integral part of the team, you will manage your own caseload, receive comprehensive support from the Lead OT and individual Head Teachers, and contribute to creating a cohesive and supportive environment for the students.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide occupational therapy services to children in specialist autism schools
• Develop and implement personalized treatment plans in collaboration with the multidisciplinary team
• Conduct assessments, evaluations, and progress monitoring as needed
• Maintain accurate records and reports on student progress
Requirements:
• HCPC registration as an Occupational Therapist
• Experience working with children in educational settings
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to adapt to changing situations and priorities
Benefits:
This Junior Occupational Therapist position offers a competitive salary between £33,000 to £43,000 per annum, dependent on experience, plus an industry-leading benefit package including six weeks holiday, CDP and training, OFSTED bonuses, and more.
