Job Title: Interim Head of Human Resources

We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Interim Head of Human Resources to join our team at the University of Leeds. As a key member of our HR leadership team, you will play a critical role in shaping the future of our organisation and driving business success.

About the Role

This is a unique opportunity to lead our HR function and make a significant impact on our organisation. You will be responsible for providing strategic HR expertise and leadership to our academic faculties, supporting the delivery of our Research and Innovation, Student Education, and International strategic priorities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide strategic HR leadership and support to our academic faculties
  • Develop and implement HR strategies to drive business success
  • Lead the implementation of our new service delivery model as part of the CPS programme
  • Strengthen our service leadership and delivery, enhancing both institutional and individual performance
  • Support the delivery of our Research and Innovation, Student Education, and International strategic priorities

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to have significant HR experience gained in a large and complex organisation, operating at a senior level. You will also need to have strong leadership skills, the ability to work in partnership with senior colleagues, and to effectively manage and develop your team of professional colleagues to deliver a high quality and strategically aligned service.
