Teaching Assistant - SEND Support

We are seeking a strong, experienced SEND Teaching Assistant to support a child on a 1-1 basis in a school. To be successful in this role, you will hold a Level 3 NVQ certificate related to Education or equivalent and be comfortable working with children who have Special Educational Needs (SEN).

The ideal candidate will possess experience working with Autism and be able to lead group work. You will also assist the class teacher with pupil observations.

This role offers a competitive salary of £25,000 - £30,000 per annum, depending on experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supporting a child with SEN on a 1-1 basis
  • Assisting the class teacher with pupil observations
  • Leading group work with students who have Autism

Requirements:

  • Level 3 NVQ certificate in Education or equivalent
  • Experience working with children who have SEN
  • Ability to lead group work with students who have Autism
