Customer Service Coordinator

A well-established business based in central Nottingham is seeking a skilled Customer Service Administrator to join their growing team. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service by leveraging your product knowledge and expertise.
Your primary focus will be on communicating with key customers and personnel via various channels, including email, phone, and customer portals. You will enjoy thinking on your feet and using your initiative to ensure you deliver the best possible experience for customers.
Reporting to the Cluster Manager, your responsibilities will include:
- Dealing with customer queries efficiently and professionally, ensuring excellent customer service at every interaction
- Taking ownership of internal and external customers by effectively managing their expectations
- Actively seeking feedback from customers to improve service delivery
- Logging jobs and arranging engineer call-outs
- Taking ownership of customer issues and following problems through to resolution
- Arranging travel bookings for engineers and managers
- Monitoring email inboxes daily to provide same-day responses
- Ensuring all calls and tasks are dealt with in a timely manner
Key skills required for this role include:
- Accuracy in record-keeping
- Excellent time management skills
- Ability to work well under pressure and prioritize workload
- Strong listening skills to understand customer requirements
- Ability to build strong working relationships (internal/external)
- Professional behavior and responsible attitude
The ideal candidate will have previous experience in a customer service role, preferably in a maintenance/reactive environment. You will also possess exceptional communication skills, including negotiating and influencing.
In return, you will be offered a competitive salary of £24,000 to £25,000, depending on experience. Working hours are Monday to Friday, 8:30am - 5:30pm, with an hour for lunch. You will also be entitled to 20 days annual leave plus statutory Bank Holidays, rising by one day per year of service up to 25 days.
