Your days will be spent communicating with key customers and personnel via various channels such as email, phone, and customer portals. You'll enjoy thinking on your feet and using your initiative to ensure you deliver the very best experience for customers.
Reporting to the Cluster Manager, your responsibilities will include:
- Dealing with customer queries efficiently in a professional manner, ensuring excellent customer service is delivered at every interaction
- Taking full ownership of your internal and external customers by effectively managing their expectations
- Actively seeking feedback from customers
- Logging jobs and arranging engineer call-outs
- Taking ownership of customer issues and following problems through to resolution
- Arranging hotel, train, and ferry bookings for engineers and managers
- Ensuring email inboxes are monitored daily to provide same-day responses
- Ensuring all calls and tasks are dealt with in a timely manner
Key Skills:
- Accuracy at record-keeping
- Excellent time management skills
- Ability to work well under pressure and prioritize workload
- Listening skills - to understand exactly what customers require
- Ability to build strong working relationships (internal/external)
- Behave in a calm, professional, and responsible manner
The ideal candidate will have previous experience within a customer service role, ideally within a maintenance/reactive environment. You will also have exceptional communication skills, including negotiating and influencing.
In return, you will be offered a salary of £24,000 to £25,000 depending on experience. Working hours are Monday to Friday, 8:30am - 5:30pm, with an hour for lunch. This is a fully office-based role. You will also be offered 20 days annual leave plus statutory Bank Holidays, rising by one day per each year of service up to 25 days.
