About the Role:
We are seeking a Support Worker to join our team at 58 Crantock Drive, a residential home for eight ladies with mild to moderate learning disabilities. As a Support Worker, you will play a vital role in ensuring the well-being and independence of our residents, promoting positive self-image, maintaining health and wellbeing, and assisting with decision-making. You will work closely with our residents to develop and maintain close relationships, encourage social interaction, and provide person-centred support. Responsibilities:
Your primary responsibilities will include:
  • Assisting with daily living tasks, such as bathing and dressing
  • Encouraging social interaction and community participation
  • Organizing activities within the home and facilitating trips to the theatre and other destinations
  • Providing person-centred support and building close relationships with residents
