Care First UK Recruitment Solutions is seeking a highly skilled PBS Practitioner to join our team in the Bristol, South Gloucestershire, and North Somerset regions. The successful candidate will play a key role in improving the lives of individuals by assessing behavioural needs, creating tailored support plans, and coaching others on best practices.

Job Requirements

To be successful in this role, the ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of PBS principles, excellent communication skills, and experience working with individuals with learning disabilities and autism. They will also need to hold a full UK driving license and have access to their own vehicle.

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced PBS practitioner to make a meaningful impact in the lives of others. The ideal candidate will be able to work flexibly across multiple locations within the designated regions, with travel mileage reimbursed.

Salary: £25,000 per annum + mileage reimbursement

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough assessments to understand individual behavioural needs
  • Develop, implement, and review comprehensive support plans in collaboration with the individual and their support network
  • Train and coach staff and family members in positive behaviour support techniques
  • Work flexibly across multiple locations within the designated regions, with travel mileage reimbursed
  • Monitor, evaluate, and adapt interventions to ensure continued progress and satisfaction

Requirements:

  • Full UK driving license and access to own vehicle
  • Experience in a similar role, ideally within the social care or health sector
  • Experience working with Young People and Adults with Learning Disabilities and Autism
  • Strong understanding of PBS principles and person-centred approaches
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
