We are seeking a skilled Senior Purification Scientist to join our team at Thermo Fisher Scientific. In this critical role, you will drive process improvements and lead investigations to optimize purification manufacturing strategies.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity for a seasoned professional with expertise in protein purification techniques, project management, and industry best practices. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement innovative solutions that enhance product quality and efficiency.

Your Responsibilities
  • Analyze and improve existing purification strategies to maximize manufacturing performance
  • Critically assess production equipment and drive improvements to equipment selection and process design
  • Participate in process development and transfer into manufacturing to ensure seamless implementation
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you must have:

  • A degree in Biochemistry or equivalent scientific subject and/or higher degree in protein/immunoglobulin purification-based research
  • At least 10 years' experience in protein purification techniques, preferably at large laboratory/pilot scale manufacturing
  • Demonstrated ability to lead projects through experience or recognized project management training
What We Offer

We provide a competitive salary range of $120,000 - $180,000 per annum, depending on experience, as well as opportunities for growth and development within our organization. Our comprehensive benefits package includes health insurance, retirement savings plan, and paid time off.
