About the Job:
The successful candidate will be responsible for operating and maintaining CNC mills and other machining equipment, interpreting and executing machining instructions, drawings, and specifications, performing routine maintenance on CNC machines, and reporting production status, issues, and concerns to appropriate personnel.
Key Responsibilities:
- Loading, operate and maintain CNC mills and other machining equipment
- Interpret and execute machining instructions, drawings, and specification
- Performing routine maintenance on CNC machine
- Reporting production status , issues and concern to appropriate personal
- Achieve precise tolerances and surface finishes on a wide variety of parts and components
- Measure and inspect machined parts to ensure compliance with quality standards
- Troubleshoot and resolve equipment malfunctions and machining issues
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Adhere to safety protocols and procedures
- Work independently and as part of a team
- Assist with process improvement and optimization initiatives
Requirements:
- SPM, Diploma, Professional Certificate or equivalent
- Minimum 3 years of experience as a CNC Machinist
- Experience in Aerospace or MRO industries
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and engineering drawings
- Understanding of CNC programming , G code and machine control
- Knowledge of machining principles, tooling selection and cutting techniques.
- Familiarity with different type of CNC machine such as milling machines and grinders
- Strong understanding of material properties and machining capabilities of various metals
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
- Willingness to learn new technologies and equipment
