About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Electrophysiology Specialist to join our team at University Hospitals Birmingham NHS Foundation Trust. As an Electrophysiology Fellow, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality patient care and contributing to the growth of our electrophysiology services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Take lead responsibility for all patients undergoing electrophysiology procedures in our labs.
  • Develop advanced pacing experience with our device team, depending on space in their training program.
  • Assist in specialist EP clinics and contribute to the on-call rota, as required.

Person SpecificationQualifications
  • Full registration with the GMC.
  • Equivalent experience and competencies in line with GMC standards/Good Medical Practice.
  • Eligibility to live and work in the UK.
Experience
  • Extensive experience of general cardiology, nearing the end of a recognised training programme in adult cardiology.
  • Experience of Device Implantation, including single and dual chamber pacemakers.
  • Competent to manage general cardiology in outpatients.
Salary Information

The estimated salary for this role is approximately £63,477-£105,697 per annum, depending on experience and qualifications.
