Electrophysiology Laboratory Specialist

About the Job

North Metro Knoxville Medical is seeking a highly skilled Electrophysiology Laboratory Specialist to join our team. As an Electrophysiology Laboratory Specialist, you will play a critical role in performing technical and general duties related to electrophysiology procedures.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare patients for EP procedures, including explaining the procedure, obtaining consent, and ensuring patient comfort.
  • Monitor and record electrocardiograms (ECGs) and intracardiac signals during EP procedures.
  • Maintain accurate records of patient data and procedure information.
  • Ensure patient safety throughout the procedure, monitoring vital signs, and responding to any adverse events or complications.
Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required. Associate degree preferred.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) preferred.
  • RCIS (Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist) preferred.
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
