Advanced Nerve Conduction Specialist

University Hospitals Birmingham NHS Foundation Trust is seeking an experienced Consultant Clinical Neurophysiologist to join its Neurophysiology Department. This full-time role offers the opportunity to work closely with neurological, neurosurgical, and orthopaedic consultants in providing a comprehensive diagnostic service.
The successful applicant will have access to a range of equipment to provide routine and specialist diagnostic studies. The postholder will be responsible for conducting nerve conduction studies (NCS) and electromyography (EMG) services, reporting on EEG of all modalities, and performing physiologist-led nerve conduction clinics as required.
This role offers opportunities for professional development and growth, including developing subspecialist interests in advanced neuromuscular neurophysiology and contributing to the education and development of clinical physiologists.
Approximately £110,000 - £155,000 per annum depending on experience.
