Job Summary

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Band 7 Registered Children's Nurse to support the continuing development of the Paediatric Cardiology service at Darent Valley Hospital, for a period of 12 months as maternity cover. This will be a secondment opportunity.

Main Duties

The successful candidate will work across children's and adult services providing clinical, specialist and holistic support/advice to children and young people with a diagnosis of a cardiology condition.

  • Diploma or Degree
  • Experience with dealing with families and children with cardiology conditions
  • Teaching/Mentorship qualification
  • Completed or willing to undertake a qualification in management of children with Cardiology disorders
  • Evidence of continuing professional development
