A Day in the Life of a Guest Services Assistant

As a Guest Services Assistant, you will be working in a fast-paced environment where no two days are the same. You will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, handling guest inquiries, and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide excellent customer service to guests, responding to their needs and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Handle guest inquiries, either in person, by phone, or via email.
  • Work collaboratively with the front office team to ensure seamless guest service.
  • Assist with room assignments, check-ins, and check-outs.
  • Maintain accurate records and reports, as required.

Requirements

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Previous experience in a customer-facing role, preferably in the hospitality industry.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing situations.
  • Basic computer skills and proficiency in using hotel software systems.
