Job Purpose

The overall aim of this role is to achieve the highest possible standard of care in a professional manner, through providing direct and indirect care to individuals experiencing mental health problems, behaviours perceived as challenging and acquired brain injuries.

Main Responsibilities

">
  1. ">
  2. Caseload management of people we support with complex needs.">
  3. Building relationships with people we support to encourage trust, while listening and interpreting their needs and concerns.">
  4. Ensure up-to-date risk assessments and recovery plans/PBS are in place.">
  5. Report writing.">
  6. Communicate within the wider GHC team ensuring best level of care for the person and support for the staff.">
  7. Access and offer supervisions as appropriate.">
  8. On Call every 6 weeks as per rota.">

Requirements

">

We require an experienced Registered Mental Health Nurse who can demonstrate:

">
  • ">
  • Minimum 2 years postgraduate experience as RMN.">
  • Experience working with a multi-disciplinary team along with other professions such as OT and psychology, care coordinators and health commissioners.">
  • Knowledge of Mental Health Act and Mental Capacity Act (this includes DOLS, CTO AND MOJ).">
