We are looking for an experienced Autism Support Specialist to join our team at Academics in Northampton. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in supporting students with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and Social Communication difficulties.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Delivering tailored support to students with ASD and Social Communication needs, promoting positive outcomes and inclusivity.
  • Working collaboratively with teachers and other staff to develop and implement effective educational programs.
  • Providing holistic support to students with SEN, including emotional and behavioral support.
Requirements:
  1. A minimum of 2 years of experience working with children and young people with Autism Spectrum Disorder or SEN.
  2. Background in care or support work is highly desirable.
  3. A patient, empathetic, and resilient approach when supporting students with complex needs.
  4. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
