Education Specialist for Autism Support

Estimated salary: £30,000 - £40,000 per annum.
Job DescriptionAs an Education Specialist for Autism Support, you will work one-to-one with a pupil with Autism in a primary school setting. The role involves providing tailored support in lessons, during transitions, and in social situations.
- Implement the pupil's EHCP and any specific behavioral or learning strategies.
- Assist the pupil in engaging in classroom activities, helping them stay focused and manage challenges.
- Monitor progress, identifying areas where additional support may be needed.
- Foster a positive relationship with the pupil, promoting self-confidence and emotional well-being.
- Work closely with teachers, SENCo, and parents/carers to provide consistent and coordinated support.
Requirements:
- A genuine passion for supporting individuals with Autism.
- Experience working within a UK primary school with knowledge of the primary curriculum.
- Experience working with individuals with Autism.
- Ofsted rated good school.
- A chance to make a meaningful difference in the lives of individuals with Autism.
- Free CPD and ongoing training.
