At Stratstone, we're looking for a highly skilled Automotive Sales Director to lead our team in driving Finance and Insurance opportunities while building outstanding customer relationships.

We offer a competitive salary of £50,000 with OTE £80,000, company car, pension, critical illness pay, life assurance, 23 days holiday, plus bank holidays, exclusive company discounts on used car purchases, leasing deals and aftersales services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Drive sales teams to optimise every Finance and Insurance opportunity
  • Establish customer wants and needs while building rapport to retain them to the brand and business
  • Expertly handle enquiry management, supporting and motivating teams to convert prospects into customers
  • Work under pressure, establishing targets and monitoring performance against budget
  • Understand shortfalls and address those with your team and Sales Manager
  • Regular feedback to your team, looking at performance, targets and coaching to develop them

Requirements:

  • A high level of professional acumen and an outstanding work ethic
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to captain a team to obtain outstanding results and support and lead them
  • Ability to meet and exceed sales targets monthly
  • Influence and negotiation skills
  • Excellent relationship building skills, with both your team and customers
