Job SummaryWe're seeking a highly skilled Regional Building Engineering Services Business Group Director to lead our regional business group program. As a key member of our leadership team, you'll be responsible for developing and implementing effective business development strategies, driving business growth, and fostering a culture of excellence within the region.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement a regional business group program that aligns with company goals and objectives.
- Lead a team of Area Business Group Managers and key personnel to drive business growth and improve operational efficiency.
- Collaborate with Regional Business Group Directors, Regional Operations Directors, and Market Sector Directors to drive business strategies and improve performance.
- Mentor and develop Area Business Group Managers and key personnel to ensure their success.
- Work closely with Area Managers to address operational inquiries and resolve issues.
- Assist in the identification and prioritization of regional strategic hires and recruiting new candidates.
- Review marketing forecasts and staff alignment with backlog to ensure optimal performance.
- Lead the annual planning process, including alignment meetings and budgeting.
We're looking for a highly experienced professional with a strong background in building engineering services and business development. The ideal candidate will have:
- A Bachelor's degree in a professional, architecture, engineering, or closely related field.
- Minimum 12 years' experience in a related field, preferably with a technical background and demonstrated expertise within the BES BG.
- Demonstrated experience leading diverse teams and working cooperatively with regional managers, area managers, market sector directors, and business development teams.
- A strong business skillset and ability to work effectively with Operations.
