About the Job

We are seeking an Advanced Technical Support Professional to join our team in Preston. The successful candidate will have at least 3 years of experience in an IT-based role and strong technical skills in a Microsoft environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Technical Support: Provide expert analysis, troubleshooting, and system & network monitoring for external customers.
  • Maintenance & Support: Handle day-to-day maintenance and support tasks as required.
  • Solution Design: Define requirements, design solutions, evaluate vendors and platforms, and perform engineering tasks.
  • Ownership: Take full ownership of issues until resolution, providing 2nd & 3rd Line support to our varied customer base.

Requirements

  • Experience: At least 3 years of experience in an IT-based role, preferably within an MSP or providing services to multisite operations.
  • Skills: Strong technical skills in a Microsoft environment and practical networking knowledge.
  • Candidate Focus: Excellent customer service skills and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Salary: Competitive up to £60,000 dependent on experience.

  • Based in office
  • Working hours: Monday – Friday, 37.5 hours per week working between the hours of 08:00 – 17:00
