Quality Assurance Specialist: Nuclear Industry Safety
2 weeks ago
At Reed-UNLIMITED, we are committed to keeping the UK's nuclear industry safe and secure. As a Quality Assurance Test Analyst, you will play a pivotal role in managing quality assurance and change processes across multiple environments.
We are seeking a professional with enthusiasm and a willingness to learn. No specific software testing experience is required, but good communication skills and a commitment to professional development are essential. Ideally, you will have some IT experience, but this is not essential as we will provide training and support.
You will work closely with our dedicated safeguards specialists and IT department to ensure continuous development and improvement of our systems. This will involve coordinating the release schedule to ensure improvements do not impede business-as-usual activities. You will also be responsible for producing test plans and end-of-test reports for each development project, and ensuring product compliance against quality improvement targets.
Our SIMRS (Safeguards Information Management and Reporting System) supports the provision of our monthly cycle of statutory reporting to the IAEA (International Atomic Energy Agency) and other international partner states in meeting the UK's international safeguards obligations.
As an inclusive employer, we welcome diverse perspectives and value individuals' contributions, regardless of their age, gender, race, ethnicity, disability, sexual orientation, social background, religion, or belief. We offer a competitive salary of £36,673 - £42,911 (plus £4,194 London Weighting Allowance if applicable) and a Civil Service Pension with an average employer contribution of 27%. Plus, flexible and hybrid working options, generous holiday entitlement, and opportunities for professional development.
