Safety Assurance Manager for Nuclear Projects at Simpson Booth Limited. We are seeking an experienced professional to join our team in Warrington & Aldermaston. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety of our clients and employees in the nuclear industry.
About the RoleThe successful candidate will have a solid understanding of UK nuclear site licensing, safety assessment principles, and regulatory guidance. They will be responsible for preparing and coordinating safety documentation delivery, advising on regulatory compliance, standards, and guidance, and supporting safety case assurance and interfaces between functions. Travel requirements include up to several days in the UK and occasional overseas travel. A competitive salary of £70,000 - £85,000 per annum, plus benefits such as a Pension Scheme, UK Private Medical Insurance, Life Assurance, and Income Protection, is on offer.
Key Responsibilities- Acting in safety case roles: safety case manager, author, or Independent Verifier.
- Supporting safety case leads in strategic planning.
- Implementing and monitoring management and technical arrangements.
- Assisting in capability development and resource strategies.
