Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced English language educator to join our team in Oxford for a fixed-term summer contract. As part of our academic team, you will deliver effective lessons with measurable outcomes to learners from around the world.

Job Description

The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching 30 hours per week, Monday-Friday, following the BSC syllabus. They will also complete weekly planners, attendance sheets, and student reports, as well as participate in academic meetings and INSETT sessions.

  • Plan and deliver engaging language-focused lessons
  • Teach 30 hours per week, adhering to the BSC syllabus
  • Complete weekly administrative tasks
  • Participate in academic meetings and professional development sessions
Requirements

To be considered for this role, you must have:

  • A CELTA, Trinity TESOL, or B.Ed. in TEFL or TESOL qualification
  • Experience teaching ESL students, preferably with young learners
  • Excellent lesson planning skills and adaptability
  • Ability to work well in a team and remain calm under pressure
  • A high level of computer literacy and enhanced DBS clearance
