Salary
The estimated salary for this role is £55,000 - £65,000 per annum, depending on experience. We offer a competitive benefits package, including a discretionary annual bonus and a contributory pension scheme.
Job Description
This is an exciting opportunity to join our vibrant and supportive Assessment Research and Analysis team in the English Language Teaching division. The Assessment Research and Analysis manager is responsible for supporting the activities of the Research and Analysis team in the design and continuous validation of English language tests, consistent with the Division's vision and values. This role also involves documenting, carrying out, improving, and automating research and analysis processes.
Required Skills and Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will need:
• A Master's degree or published papers in language assessment, computational linguistics, applied linguistics, or a related field
• Knowledge of English Language Teaching assessment
• Ability to handle large data sets accurately and efficiently
• Ability to use Excel to manage and manipulate data
• Programming capability in Python, R, or similar language
• Familiarity with Rasch measurement concepts
