Job Summary
The University of Oxford is seeking a highly qualified individual to fill the position of Catalan Specialist. This role involves teaching Catalan language and culture to students in higher education. The ideal candidate will have fluency in Catalan, a good understanding of the subject matter, and experience in teaching languages.

About the Role
This is a full-time position that requires the lecturer to teach up to 13 hours a week. The appointee will be responsible for planning and delivering language courses, marking student work, and participating in oral examinations. Additionally, they will contribute to the promotion of Catalan within the institution by running events and engaging with students.

Requirements
To be considered for this position, applicants must possess native-level fluency in Catalan, a good first degree in a relevant field (language, literature, or linguistics), and experience in teaching languages in higher education.
