Job Description

As a key member of the Accor Hotels team, the Director of Revenue Management will be responsible for driving revenue growth and maximizing profitability across all revenue centers at the hotel.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Pricing Strategy Development: Collaborate with the General Manager to establish and implement pricing strategies that optimize revenue and drive business growth.
  2. Rate Quoting and Distribution: Ensure that a defined rate quoting strategy is in place for negotiated RFP seasons and oversee the reservations section to maximize revenue contribution through all distribution channels.
  3. Revenue Analysis and Forecasting: Conduct continuous analysis of changing channel distribution models and their impact on consumer booking trends, and work with the top-line team to determine effective and engaging rate offers (packages) that are offered to the right customer through the right channel.
  4. Operational Standards: Establish and maintain standards of operations in both Revenue and Reservations departments, ensuring seamless integration and maximum revenue potential.
  5. Competitive Environment Monitoring: Actively monitor the competitive environment and develop revenue-optimizing tactics and strategies to maximize Revenue Generation Index (RGI).
  6. Forecasting and Reporting: Drive the forecasting process for all operating departments, identifying revenue potentials and supply and demand variables for the property, and provide weekly dynamic forecasts of expected results, variances, and budget comparisons.
  7. System Configuration and Management: Configure and manage key systems, including revenue management systems, central reservation systems, property management systems, and distribution platforms, to ensure pricing integrity and optimal revenue capture.
  8. Market Intelligence and Analysis: Identify areas needing improvement, competitors' strengths, and develop strategies to best capture available market share, and analyze overall monthly hotel performance to provide summary reports with recommendations for long-term strategy improvement.
Requirements:

Minimum 5+ years of experience in Revenue Management, with a proven track record of driving revenue growth and maximizing profitability in a hotel or hospitality setting.
