About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Global Commercial Director to lead our Net Revenue Management team. As a key member of our commercial leadership team, you will be responsible for driving incremental profit for our General Medicine business globally.

Key Responsibilities
  • Shape the Vision: Develop and implement a comprehensive vision for Net Revenue Management, embedding it in the mindset and culture of our organization globally.
  • Translate Vision into Action: Translate the vision into an actionable roadmap and drive execution through regions and local operating companies.
  • Lead Projects and Country Deep Dives: Lead projects and country deep dives to identify incremental profit opportunities through pricing and trade spend optimization.
  • Meet LOCs Where They Are: Meet local operating companies where they are and evolve capabilities through country deep dives from descriptive and diagnostic analytics to advanced analytics.
  • Build a Network of Stakeholders: Build a vast network across local operating companies, local teams, and global stakeholders, managing a diverse set of stakeholders from local to global.
  • Connect and Drive Collaboration: Connect and drive collaboration across functions like commercial trade channel, finance, pricing, and market access.
  • Provide NRM Guidance: Provide Net Revenue Management guidance and recommendations to global brand teams to maximize net revenue opportunities in key markets.
  • Evolving Governance Structure: Evolve and adapt a governance structure with commercial and finance, including performance reviews, regional reviews, and global opportunity maps.
  • End-to-End NRM Process: Evolve and adapt the end-to-end Net Revenue Management process and framework, as required.
  • Owner of Global Pharma Pricing & Analytics Platform: Own and lead the Global Pharma Pricing & Analytics platform, driving data-driven optimization and working with technology to deliver.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree: Bachelor's degree or equivalent in an engineering, business, or finance-related subject.
  • Commercial Experience: Considerable commercial experience gained in a commercial function within the pharmaceutical industry, revenue management, FMCG, or finance industry.
  • Data Analytics: Demonstrated ability to iterate between high-level strategic thinking and detailed operational implementation elements, with a strong focus on data analytics.
  • Effective Communication: Demonstrated excellence in effective communications, influencing, data analytics, stakeholder management, and negotiation for a wide variety of audiences.
  • Process Improvement: Strong experience in driving performance through local operating companies and process improvement.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Master's Degree: Master's degree in a relevant subject such as engineering, business, or finance-related subject.
  • Data Consolidation: Ability to deliver actionable insights from the consolidation of data and intelligence from multiple sources.
  • Problem-Solving: High level of problem-solving, including the ability to look at available data sources, identify gaps, and utilize technology solutions to consolidate data into concise dashboards.
  • Cultural Understanding: Working with multiple markets across cultures to understand environments and strategies.
  • Advanced Analytics: Advanced analytics capabilities and experience with MS Data Bricks, Azure, and programming languages such as Python and R.
