About the Job:

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Training and Development Manager to lead our training team at Pearson. As a key member of our operations department, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality training programs, assessing learner performance, and evaluating training effectiveness.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Design, develop, and deliver comprehensive training programs.
  • Evaluate learner performance and provide feedback to learners and line managers.
  • Assess and verify learner work, identifying areas for improvement.
  • Maintain accurate records and reports, adhering to regulatory requirements.
  • Collaborate with the Programme Manager to ensure seamless training delivery.
  • Manage attendance, absences, and related paperwork, ensuring compliance with company policies.
Requirements:
  • Degree-level qualification in a relevant field (e.g., adult education, training management).
  • Extensive experience working in training and assessment capacities.
  • Proven leadership and management skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to analyze data, make informed decisions, and implement improvements.
Salary Range:

£45,000 - £55,000 per annum, commensurate with your experience and qualifications.
