About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Medical Psychotherapy Training Manager to join our team. As a part-time position, this role involves working across multiple hospital sites within Northamptonshire and requires a strong understanding of psychotherapy training and development.

The successful candidate will be responsible for establishing and supporting excellent communication links to doctors in training to promote a shared vision of the Trust's commitment to remaining a high-quality clinical education provider.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement effective psychotherapy training programs for core and higher trainees.
  • Collaborate with senior clinicians to ensure that all core trainees have the opportunity to complete the psychotherapy requirements of the core curriculum.
  • Advise and support core and higher trainees in their learning by reviewing progress in psychotherapy.
  • Establish and maintain effective relationships with key stakeholders, including departmental heads and junior medical staff.
  • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of psychotherapy training programs and make recommendations for improvement.
