Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Medical Psychotherapy Tutor to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the organisation and educational governance of psychotherapy training in NHFT.

This is a part-time position consisting of 5 sessions (2 Direct Clinical Care and 3 SPA sessions). We offer a competitive salary of £**42,491-67,176** per annum, depending on experience.

The ideal candidate will have excellent written and verbal communication skills, ability to present complex information to a variety of audiences, and be able to motivate and develop junior Medical Staff and other MDT members.

About the Role
  • Ensure that all core trainees have the opportunity to complete the psychotherapy requirements of the core curriculum.
  • Advise and support core and higher trainees in their learning by reviewing progress in psychotherapy.
  • Oversee the establishment and running of the core trainee Balint or case-based discussion group(s).
