Job Title: Document ControllerOverview

This role plays a crucial part in ensuring the smooth operation of our projects by providing comprehensive support in managing project documentation. The successful candidate will oversee and ensure coordination in relation to secondary consents, such as local highways department, Environmental agency, SEPA, and Natural Scotland.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage project documentation in line with both Prysmian procedures and client requirements.
  • Issue document numbers from the Master Document Register (MDR).
  • Maintain MDR up-to-date with changes to document names and revision status.
  • Control creation, review, and distribution internally of documents throughout the document lifecycle.
  • Format documents, proofread for grammatical errors, and ensure they conform to company standards.
  • Ensure documents are transmitted in a controlled manner to clients and third parties.
  • Track document status and timescales for documents issued to clients for review.
  • Assist collating all information for the final file.
  • Create/update templates.
Requirements
  • Proven experience in a similar position, preferably within energy or renewables.
  • Proficient in MS Office (e.g., Excel).
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent organization and time management skills.
  • Ability to travel.
  • Strong communication, influencing, and interpersonal skills across all organizational levels.
  • Ability to work effectively within cross-functional teams.
