Job Summary

We are recruiting for an experienced secretary to provide administrative support in the Urology Department.

The successful candidate will have a strong background in healthcare administration, previous NHS experience, and a medical secretarial qualification.

The role involves providing administrative support to the consultant, medical, and nursing team, including maintaining accurate and confidential records.

Responsibilities
  • To provide administrative support to the Clinical Specialty and its associated work streams.
  • To coordinate the administration arrangements to provide a high-quality supportive secretarial service.
  • To process documents accurately and efficiently using digital dictation and analogue dictation.
Requirements

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Competently communicates professionally and effectively with all levels of staff both verbally and in writing.
  • Proficient in use of Microsoft Office applications.
  • Experienced in planning and organising and prioritising own workload.

A competitive salary of £25,000 - £30,000 per annum is on offer, depending on experience.
