About Gretton School

Gretton School is an independent specialist school for children and young people with Autistic Spectrum Conditions, specifically high functioning autism. We welcome students from 5-19 years old, as weekly boarders or as day students. Our school is based just outside Cambridge and works with 12 counties to provide a broad and individualised education for these unique and wonderful students.

Our Mission

We are committed to providing a safe and supportive environment where our students can thrive. Our focus is on making sure each young person feels safe and cared for. A maximum of three young people live together in a house or bungalow within the school grounds.

The Role

We are seeking a Residential Support Worker to work in a friendly and supportive boarding environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing exceptional support to our students, helping them to develop social, life and independence skills. The role involves working alternating weekly early and late shifts, with a focus on making sure each young person feels safe and cared for.

What You'll Need

To be successful in this role, you will need to be passionate about supporting the development of social, life and independence skills. You will also need to be able to work effectively as part of a team, providing exceptional support to our students. We are looking for someone who is flexible, reliable and able to work well under pressure.
