Deputy Residential Homes Manager

We are seeking an experienced and dedicated individual to join our team as a Deputy Residential Homes Manager. As a key member of our management team, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to children and young people in our residential homes.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic and supportive environment, where you will have the chance to make a real difference in the lives of our young people. As a Deputy Manager, you will be responsible for supporting the Registered Manager to lead a team of Residential Care Officers, providing guidance and oversight to ensure that our homes are safe, supportive, and nurturing environments.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the Registered Manager in leading a team of Residential Care Officers
  • Provide guidance and oversight to ensure high-quality care and support
  • Work collaboratively with health partners to provide a therapeutic-based model of care
  • Develop and deliver individualized care packages that support our ethos and mission statement
What We Offer

We offer a competitive salary of up to £41,418, enhancements for the role and sleepover payments, 27 days annual leave per year rising to 32 with 5 years service, and access to a range of employee benefits including learning and development opportunities, a car lease scheme, and discounts at high street and online retailers.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to hold a Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare, meet all essential criteria as set out in the attached person specification, and be able to register with Ofsted. You will also need to have excellent leadership and management skills, be innovative and inspirational, and have a passion for working with children and young people.
