About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Residential Care Officer to join our team at Stockton-on-Tees Borough Council. As a Senior Residential Care Officer, you will be responsible for providing high-quality care and support to children and young people in our residential homes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Act as a corporate parent and champion for Children in Need, ensuring the quality standards are met.
  • Ensure young people are nurtured, happy, healthy, and safe from harm, able to develop, thrive, and fulfill their full potential.
  • Work in conjunction with health partners to provide a therapeutic-based model of care for children and young people who have experienced trauma and may have attachment issues.
  • Support the Registered Manager, Deputy Manager, and care team to deliver care packages that support our ethos and mission statement.
