Deputy Residential Homes Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Deputy Residential Homes Manager to join our team at Stockton-on-Tees Borough Council. As a key member of our leadership team, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality care and support to children and young people in our residential homes.
Key Responsibilities- Support the Registered Manager in leading a team of Residential Care Officers to provide exceptional care and family support.
- Develop and deliver individualized care packages that meet the unique needs of each young person.
- Work collaboratively with health partners to provide a therapeutic-based model of care for children and young people who have experienced trauma and attachment issues.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of our homes' Statement of Purpose and ensure compliance with Ofsted regulations.
- A competitive salary of up to £41,418 (salary grade on appointment will be determined by qualifications and experience).
- Enhancements for the role and sleepover payments where appropriate, with further opportunities to pick up additional hours as and when required.
- 27 days annual leave per year rising to 32 with 5 years' service (plus bank holidays). Ability to purchase additional leave is also available.
- Generous Pension Scheme through the LGPS with ability to pay extra and plan for retirement.

- Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare or equivalent qualification.
- Meet all essential criteria as set out in the attached person specification.
