About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Deputy Residential Homes Manager to join our team at Stockton-on-Tees Borough Council. As a key member of our residential childcare services, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and family support to vulnerable children and young people.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support the Registered Manager to lead a team of Residential Care Officers in providing exceptional care and family support

• Collaborate with health partners to develop and deliver a therapeutic based model of care for children and young people with trauma and attachment issues

• Develop and implement individualized care packages that support our ethos and mission statement to 'turnaround the lives of young people in order to prepare them to live in a family'

• Work closely with a therapist to develop and deliver individualized packages of support

What We Offer:

• A competitive salary of up to £41,418 (salary grade on appointment will be determined by qualifications and experience)

• Enhancements for the role and sleepover payments where appropriate with further opportunities to pick up additional hours as and when required

• 27 days annual leave per year rising to 32 with 5 years service (plus bank holidays). Ability to purchase additional leave is also available
