About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity for a Mechanical Engineer to work on TOP SECRET MoD and Defence projects. The successful candidate will play a key part in the global security crisis and join a multi-billion-pound global engineering and defence company with a top training and progression program.

Responsibilities will include:

  • Servicing, repairing, and maintaining vehicles and electrical equipment
  • Diagnosing and assessing vehicle status
  • Managing material demands and completing test reports in compliance with standards

The ideal candidate will have an NVQ Level 2 or similar qualification, or time served experience in the field. Optional shift patterns include Monday to Thursday - 6:45am - 5:30pm, Monday to Thursday - 8:00am - 4:30pm & Friday 8:00am to 1:00pm.

Benefits of this role include a salary of £30,000, expected earnings £32k - £38k, a 37 hour week, 6% pension, option for 4 day working week, funded qualifications, progression routes, flexible hours, company pension, 25 days holiday, and company benefits.
