Job Description

We are currently seeking a skilled Vehicle Mechanic to join our team at our Chivenor, Barnstaple depot. As a Vehicle Mechanic, you will have the opportunity to work on a wide range of military vehicles and develop your mechanical knowledge.

About the Position

The successful candidate will be responsible for servicing, maintaining and repairing vehicle components and accessories in line with company, client and/or manufacturer's instructions. You will also diagnose faults and test vehicles using recognised test procedures and techniques.

Key Skills and Qualifications

  • Fully qualified Mechanic through an approved qualification such as City & Guilds or equivalent
  • Excellent problem-solving skills
  • Able to work accurately and efficiently
  • Good communication skills

Salary and Benefits

The salary for this role is approximately £30,371 per annum, which is paid bi-weekly. In addition to your salary, you will receive enhanced pension contributions, heavily discounted gym membership, and exceptional career development opportunities.
