Mechanical Engineer (Vehicles) Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Mechanical Engineer (Vehicles) to join our team at Ernest Gordon Recruitment. As a key member of our defence vehicle maintenance team, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing a range of vehicles.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintain and repair a range of vehicles to a high standard, ensuring timely completion of tasks.
  • Diagnose and rectify faults using diagnostic equipment, applying technical knowledge to resolve issues efficiently.
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as servicing and inspections, adhering to industry standards and best practices.

Requirements:
  • NVQ Level 2 or equivalent qualification in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair, demonstrating technical competence and expertise.
  • Experience working on defence vehicles, preferably with MoD, showcasing expertise in vehicle maintenance and repair.
  • Good knowledge of diagnostic equipment and techniques, enabling effective troubleshooting and repair.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, collaborating with colleagues to achieve shared goals.
