The Isle of Wight NHS Trust is seeking a skilled and motivated Midwife to join our team. This exciting opportunity will see you working across the maternity service, providing individualised care to around 1000 women and birthing people each year.

As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for working within a small unit to provide personalised care, participating in the on-call service, and working both in the acute and community setting.

This role offers a competitive salary of £30,000 - £40,000 per annum, depending on experience. In addition to this, we offer benefits including an onsite day nursery, cycle-to-work scheme, discounts at local businesses and gyms, and flexible working opportunities.

Main duties include:

  • Working within a small unit to provide personalised care
  • Participating in the on-call service
  • Working both in the acute and community setting

Required skills and qualifications include current RM registration with the NMC, Certificate in mentorship/practice supervisor, and Full UK driving license. Essential skills include excellent verbal and written communication skills, self-motivation, and ability to work autonomously.
