Job Summary

We're looking for a passionate and resilient SEND Qualified Teacher with QTS to inspire young minds and support our ethos of inclusive education.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lesson Planning and Delivery: Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging lessons that align with the National Curriculum, fostering an inclusive learning environment where all students feel supported and encouraged to achieve.
  • Collaboration and Teamwork: Work closely with colleagues and parents to monitor and support each child's progress and well-being, cultivating a safe and respectful classroom culture that promotes independence and community contribution.
  • Forest School Principles: Utilize the school's outdoor resources and Forest School principles to bring lessons to life, inspiring children through creative lesson planning and practical learning experiences.
  • Curriculum Integration: Encourage a hands-on approach to learning, helping students apply skills and knowledge in real-life contexts, while integrating real-life applications into teaching.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • SEND Teaching Experience: SEND Teacher with QTS, experienced in a mainstream school setting, with a strong understanding of the National Curriculum and how to integrate real-life applications into teaching.
  • Passion and Resilience: Passionate about teaching and making a positive impact on young learners' lives, with resilience and adaptability in different teaching situations and student needs.
  • Team Player: Dedicated team player, collaborating effectively with staff, parents, and the broader school community to foster a cohesive learning pathway for students.

Benefits

The successful candidate will receive a competitive salary of £40,000 - £60,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus benefits including professional development opportunities and a supportive work environment.
