Job Description

We are seeking an exceptional Learning and Development Assistant to join our team at Academics Ltd in Aylesbury. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated and experienced individual to work as part of our school support team.

About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for leading classes, developing children's skills in their learning, and teaching and covering classes in teacher's absences using their planning to continue students' learning without disruption.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead classes and develop children's skills in their learning.
  • Teach and cover classes in teacher's absences.
  • Assist students who need additional support with their learning.
  • Support pupils across the school and work outside the classroom in extracurricular activities.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to have a passion for working with children, hold HLTA status or have previous teaching assistance experience desired. Long-term and permanent contracts available.

Estimated Salary:

£30,000 - £35,000 per annum depending on experience.
