Academic Learning Support Specialist

About the Role:
The role of an Academic SEN Tutor at a renowned Ofsted 'Outstanding' school in Aylesbury, Buckinghamshire is to provide specialist educational provision for pupils aged 2-19 with a focus on moderate learning difficulties. As an experienced SEN teacher or primary teacher, you will have a keen interest in supporting students with a range of behavioural and SEN needs.
This individualised and holistic approach ensures each pupil receives tailored support to address their unique needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality teaching and learning experiences to pupils with additional needs
- Develop and implement Individualised Education Plans (IEPs) that cater to the diverse needs of our students
- Collaborate with colleagues to create a cohesive and supportive learning environment
- Stay up-to-date with best practices in SEN education and share knowledge with the team
Requirements:
We are seeking a QTS Teacher or equivalent qualification holder with a passion for working with pupils who have additional needs. A SEN qualification is desirable but not essential. You must be willing to work with students who have a range of behavioural and SEN needs.
Salary:£35,000 - £45,000 per annum, dependent on experience
