About the Role

We are seeking a motivated Speech and Language Therapist to join our Specialist Learning Disability Service in Buckinghamshire. This is an exciting opportunity for a committed professional to work as part of a diverse multi-disciplinary team and contribute to the well-established Speech and Language Therapy service.

Job Description

This development post is ideal for Newly Qualified SLTs interested in Learning Disabilities, or those due to qualify in the near future. We welcome applications from both newly qualified and experienced therapists, with a focus on supporting service users with complex needs.

Main Responsibilities
  • Support Adults with Learning Disabilities who have communication needs, and develop skills in line with the band 5-6 competency framework.
  • Work collaboratively with the Speech and Language Therapy team, receiving regular clinical supervision and support.
  • Participate in continuing professional development and contribute to service development.

Salary and Benefits

The salary for this role is £31,383 - £39,815 per annum, depending on experience. In addition to a competitive salary, we offer a range of benefits, including a pension scheme, flexible working arrangements, and opportunities for career development.
