About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and talented Sous Chef to join our team at Compass Group UK, a leading food service and facilities management company. As a Sous Chef, you will play a key role in producing high-quality food using the finest and freshest ingredients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and support team members to achieve exceptional culinary standards
  • Support in the creation of exciting menu concepts that meet the needs of our clients
  • Adhere to health and safety standards, as well as food hygiene regulations
  • Stock taking and ordering of stock to ensure efficient inventory management
  • Deputise in the Head Chef's absence to ensure seamless operation of the kitchen
  • Cater for customers daily, providing exceptional dining experiences
Requirements
  • Innovative and creative individual with a passion for food
  • Organised, able to make robust judgments and prioritise tasks effectively
  • Flexible approach with a 'can do' attitude, able to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong commercial experience, with a track record of driving world-class performance
  • Ability to monitor and challenge the use of processes to improve efficiency
  • Excellent communication and relationship building skills, with the ability to work with diverse teams
