About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced and talented Sous Chef to join our fantastic team at Restaurant Associates, a leading food service and facilities management company. As a Sous Chef, you will be responsible for producing outstanding food using the finest and freshest ingredients, working in a team to create high-end and high-quality dishes, and developing and supporting team members to achieve exceptional results.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement menu concepts that meet the highest standards of quality and presentation
  • Lead and motivate a team of kitchen staff to achieve exceptional results
  • Monitor and control food costs, inventory, and stock levels
  • Ensure adherence to health and safety standards and food hygiene regulations
  • Collaborate with the Head Chef to plan and execute menu development, kitchen operations, and staff training
  • Provide exceptional customer service and ensure that all customers receive a high-quality dining experience

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Sous Chef in a high-end kitchen environment
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a team
  • Excellent culinary skills, with a passion for food and a commitment to quality and presentation
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines in a fast-paced kitchen environment
  • Strong commercial awareness and ability to manage food costs and inventory
